A common complaint I’ve been getting.
“Jeff, you’re wrong, this petition is wrong. The Leafs wore this logo in 1967, they changed in 1966!”
This is very weakly accurate.
They changed after the regular season, which was 70 games.
They would go on to play the playoffs in this Logo, in honor of the 100th year of the official existence of Canada.
They played 12 playoff games in this jersey.
Therefore, the 35 point Leaf was used in 85.3% of Leafs games that year.

The Leafs changed their jersey for the playoffs in 1967. They continued to wear that uniform for three more years. The current Maple Leaf logo was introduced in the fall of 1970 when the Leafs uniform was completely changed to the format used until the spring of 1992.
Cal, you’re correct. What I’m saying is that the 67 Cup to me was won with those 35 point jerseys, as they wore them 85% of the year. That’s all, haha.
WHAT I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE IS THE LEAFS JERSEYS WITH A NICE SILVER AND BLUE COLOUR RATHER THEN THE SAME OLD BORING WHITE!

As if changing the logo back is going to help these losers ??! I guess the hopeless leaf fans will grasp at any straw available . Sad.
with all the issues the team has had, the most pressing thing for the fans is to have a logo changed?
It seems apparent why the ownership does nothing to improve the team…the fans will follow regardless of the actions…..
The point about changing the sweater before playoffs — that was a Leaf tradition going way back. Make the playoffs, alter the sweater.
The 12 games they played with the new logo were far more important than the 70 games they played with the old logo.
CHANGE THE JERSEYS THE 3ERD JERSEY IS SOOO NICE
